HOPS Heart of Charity is a faith-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping teen girls and young women discover their purpose, build confidence, and lead with strength. Through mentorship, leadership development, and community outreach, we help the next generation grow personally, spiritually, and professionally, equipping them to build brighter, more resilient futures.

HOPS Heart of Charity was founded in 2022 by Tearra Dotson, whose journey is a testament to resilience, faith, and purpose. As a teenage mother, society often placed limitations on what her future “should” look like. By many standards, she wasn’t expected to succeed, but Tearra defied those expectations. She went on to graduate from college, build a successful business, and create a life rooted in impact and leadership.

That journey ignited something deeper. Tearra recognized that many young women and girls were navigating similar challenges, feeling overlooked, unsupported, or defined by their circumstances. What began as small workshops and mentorship sessions quickly grew into a calling.

Today, HOPS Heart of Charity is more than a nonprofit; it is a movement. Through community programs, school partnerships, and transformative experiences, we offer guidance and real connection. We remind every young woman we serve that her story does not limit her, it empowers her, and she is never alone in her journey.
